Signs of Codependent Behavior

Obsessive focus on other people’s behavior

The need to feel in-control and want to “FIX” someone

Lacking boundaries and allowing harmful behavior towards you

Separation Anxiety and a Fear of Abandonment

Choosing everyone else and betraying yourself

A feeling that everyone is better and that you are nothing

The expectation that no one will ever treat you well

Signs of A Codependent & Toxic Relationship

Feeling 100% responsible for your partner’s feelings and actions

Denying the problem

Avoiding conflict at all costs

Providing money a support towards a negative habit

Saying “YES” no matter what

Obsessing over partner’s behavior

Trying to control or “FIX” your partner or other people in your life.

Excusing partner’s negative behavior and possible substance abuse

Putting your partner’s needs above your own

Turning to negative ways of coping, such as addiction
